In Acts 14:1-28
3 But the apostles stayed there a long time, preaching boldly about the grace of the Lord. And the Lord proved their message was true by giving them power to do miraculous signs and wonders.

In this verse have you ever said; If only I could perform a miraculous sign or wonder that would convince everyone that Jesus Christ is the Lord. Here in this passage you see as you read that you are not going to convince everyone. Some will believe and others will be a skeptic. "Sign" means that the miracle conveys a lesson, and "wonder", suggest the miracle creates a sense of awe.
By the way you cannot do anything, miracles, signs, or wonders. But you can allow the Holy Spirit to work through you to do signs and wonders. We do not need to spend time wishing but allow the Holy Spirit to water as we plant the seed.

We had a great service this morning. Day of Prayer for Peace in Jerusalem and this being first Sunday Lords supper was taken. The ladies are giving Kayla a baby shower for her baby boy which should be here next month. The floor in the fellowship hall should be finished by this time next week. It already looks good even though it does not have the sealer on it yet.
"The times are coming when I will make a New Covenant ." Jer. 31:31 Praise the Lord the time has come and it is Jesus Christ who sealed the covenant with his blood for each of us.

Give God the Glory

PRAISE THE LORD!!!! Had a wonderful Sunday, Travis and Jan joined the church yesterday morning.
Had a great fellowship meal and singing last night also.
We are looking foreword to September 20 when we have a Celebration Day with water slides and games and the best part FOOD, a fish fry that evening @ 5:00.
Looking to this next week when the youth are in charge of the service.

CELEBRATION

On September the 20th 2009 we will be having a Celebration Day for what we have accomplished so far since our tragedy. A Fish fry with all the fixins and water slides and bouncie room for the kids, horseshoes, bean bag toss, singing fellowship and more. Looking foreword to seeing everybody out and having a good time. Fun will start around 3:00 and eating around 5:00

PRAISE BE TO GOD...

We are finally in our new building. Looking foreword to a celebration service we are going to have with a fish fry and singing. These past two years have been hard with all the obstacles that have come our way.
We still have a few things to do but we are enjoying the new building. O, Our steeple will be here Monday or Tuesday and with our Sign just put up last Monday it is looking on the hill that they said it could not be done.
